About the Role:
As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll be a key player in our People team, responsible for managing and optimizing our Talent Acquisition operations. You’ll lead a team of coordinators, act as a system administrator for our ATS, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
You’ll also play a strategic role in developing and implementing staffing plans, driving employer branding initiatives, and fostering a positive candidate experience.
This is a full-time, remote position with priority given to applicants willing to work two days a week from our Tempe, AZ office. Fully remote candidates must reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zones to be considered. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop the Talent Acquisition administrative team.
- Act as subject matter expert and system administrator for the Applicant Tracking and Onboarding Systems.
- Oversee background checks, I-9, E-Verify, and other pre-boarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
- Use systems and tools to create reports, analyze data, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead employment branding initiatives and manage company career pages.
- Plan and execute training for hiring managers and the talent acquisition team.
- Lead Talent Acquisition experience initiatives, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Assist in creating and implementing strategic staffing plans.
- Provide recommendations and implement actions for continuous improvement.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new processes, tools, and strategies to optimize Talent Acquisition.
- May occasionally directly recruit for key positions and attend hiring events.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field and at least 7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition (10+ years preferred), with at least 3 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience with employer branding and talent acquisition marketing
- Strong knowledge of current talent acquisition tools, strategies, processes, and best practices
- Advanced ATS management, administration, and reporting skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills
- Self-motivated, conscientious, and driven to achieve excellence
- Excellent computer skills, including Smartsheet, MS Office, Teams, Zoom, AI applications, and instant messaging platforms
- Strong knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain compliance in a high-volume, dynamic environment
- Strong understanding of key talent analytics
- Customer-focused, with the ability to understand and exceed customer expectations
