About the Role:
As an Account Executive – Enterprise, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing Plaid’s innovative solutions to large companies across North America. You’ll build a strong sales pipeline, identify opportunities for prospects to benefit from Plaid, and close major deals.
You’ll also establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within prospect and customer accounts, ensuring their long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Building: Identify and qualify potential enterprise clients, build relationships with key decision-makers, and close deals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a refined and repeatable sales motion in a specific vertical or category of accounts.
- Product Advocacy: Become a subject matter expert on Plaid’s products and services, effectively communicating their value and technical advantages to potential clients.
- Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within prospect and customer accounts, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and success.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales development, account management, technical account management, implementation, product, and other teams to drive successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, with a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals. At least three years of experience focused on enterprise customers is required.
- Sales Skills: Strong prospecting, qualifying, and negotiating skills. Consultative sales approach with a product-centric mindset.
- Strategic Thinking: Experience working with sales development and deploying a territory or vertical-focused revenue strategy.
- Technical Acumen: Experience selling APIs and a deep understanding of API consumption and integration.
- Product Knowledge: Excitement about understanding complex solutions and the desire to become overly technical about Plaid’s product and use cases.

- Compensation: Target base salary for this role is between $120,000 and $140,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered.
