Intervention Specialist: 100% Remote Opportunity at Imagine Learning

At Imagine Learning, you will have the chance to provide targeted and intensive support to small groups of students through live, online interventions. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to determine appropriate supports, use data to drive instructional decisions, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Activities/Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver intensive live interventions to small groups of students using research-based instructional best practices in an online video-based tutoring platform.
  • Collaborate across internal and external teams to determine proper targeted supports.
  • Communicate support, rationale, and feedback to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Use data to drive decisions*1 Work effectively and efficiently within a communication process for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and communicate an intervention schedule to internal and external stakeholders.2
  • Communicate professionally in all written and verbal interactions with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching or academic intervention experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Active teaching certification/license is required.
  • Ability to deliver dynamic and engaging instruction in an online video-based tutoring platform.
  • Experience supporting students and educators in a blended, virtual, or online learning environment preferred.
  • Understanding of student intervention best practices preferred.
  • Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to generate creative solutions and provide ideas to assist students and educators with a growth mindset.4
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
  • Part-Time Positions: Availability of at least 18 hours a week (day shift) or 12 hours a week (evening shift between 4-8 pm Eastern), with the ability to work a set shift with consecutive days and hours.
  • Partial Full-Time Positions: Typical set shift of 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, for the 42 weeks worked each year.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment.5
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat, and database software is a must.
  • Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or provide proof of application within 7 days (upon hire).
