Position Summary:
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our clients and ensuring their satisfaction and retention. You’ll collaborate closely with the Client Services team to understand client needs, identify opportunities for value-added services, and develop tailored strategies that drive positive outcomes.
This is a highly visible role that requires exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. You’ll be the go-to person for our clients, providing expert HR guidance and support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Client Engagement: Collaborate with the Client Services team to understand client needs and develop tailored strategies to enhance their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams within PEOPLEASE to ensure seamless service delivery and leverage client feedback to inform product offerings and service enhancements.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
- Client Retention: Design and implement proactive client retention programs focused on improving the overall client experience and satisfaction.
- Team Development: Assist in cultivating a positive culture of learning and professional development for the Client Services team.
- Escalation Management: Engage in escalated service situations, partnering across the organization to find timely and mutually agreeable resolutions.
- Client Success Measurement: Assist in establishing an effective client interaction model and developing tools to measure client success, including human capital assessments, customized service levels, SLAs, and additional deliverables.
- Client Communication: Collaborate with the Client Services Manager, SVP of Operations & Quality, and communications leaders to develop and oversee client communications.
- New Client Onboarding: Work with Sales to support the onboarding of new clients, attending key meetings and developing implementation timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business Administration or HR-related field preferred.
- Certifications: SPHR/PHR, Benefits and/or Payroll certifications a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in either a consulting or corporate environment.
- PEO industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in a wide variety of employment law and regulations.
- Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop lasting partnerships and influence senior leaders.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
