About the Role:
As a Remote Administrative Budgetary Specialist, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks related to budget management, expense tracking, and administrative support. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure financial compliance, prepare reports, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the U.S. Courts.
This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: Apply your knowledge of basic budget projection principles to assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
- Expense Tracking: Track and reconcile expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to multiple teams, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
- Training Coordination: Research training options and make reservations for staff members.
- Attendance Tracking: Prepare and maintain staff attendance rosters.
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate shipping and receiving of goods using FedEx and UPS.
- Office Equipment: Manage and troubleshoot general office equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with 5-8 years of budgetary and other relevant experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Word, WordPerfect, Adobe Acrobat, and Lotus Notes or Outlook
- Working knowledge of Internet navigation
