About the Role:
As a Data Analyst I, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our healthcare data. You’ll collaborate with data carriers, perform data quality checks, and assist in developing data transformation processes. Your analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Data Management and Quality: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of healthcare data.
- Collaboration: Host and facilitate discussions with healthcare data carriers to manage data intake and ensure client data requirements are met.
- Documentation: Document meeting discussions and obtain sign-off from clients and carriers.
- Data Quality Checks: Perform data quality checks to verify that data provided is consistent with requirements.
- Data Transformation: Write data transformation specifications to load source data into the target data warehouse.
- Data Analysis and Mining: Perform data analysis, data mining, and identify the root cause of issues using SQL.
- Engineering Support: Assist the Engineering/Tools team with new business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Automation: Assist in converting manual processes to automated processes through coding and programming.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Health Science, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience with healthcare data analysis.
- 2+ years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry in a data warehouse operations organization.
- Skills:
- Strong data manipulation skills using database and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of database applications, including extraction and querying skills.
- Ability to use SQL and other data tools to analyze diverse datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze raw data, disseminate results, and think logically.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Knowledge of non-traditional data types (health & wellness, workforce productivity, EMR).
