About the Role:
As Muck Rack’s first Social Media Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our social media strategy and build a strong online presence. You’ll create engaging content, manage social media channels, track brand reputation, and drive engagement across various platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with company goals and campaigns.
- Develop creative and engaging copy for campaigns.
- Collaborate with design, communications, and marketing teams on strategy, measurement, and creative execution.
- Engage with our community of PR and communications professionals, journalists, and media-adjacent audiences on social platforms.
- Monitor social media mentions, escalate issues, and respond in a timely manner.
- Analyze and report on results, tracking key metrics and providing insights.
- Manage the social media calendar, publishing and scheduling posts.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in social media management.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Sprout Social or a similar platform.
- Comfortable with tools like Muck Rack and Google Analytics.
- Experience developing and executing social media strategies for B2B companies (preferably SaaS).
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics.
- Experience with social listening, competitive tracking, and content creation.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and autonomously.
- Experience with reputation and crisis management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with running and optimizing paid social media advertising.
- Experience with video production, scripting, and editing.
