About the Role:
As a Content Designer at Meta, you’ll be responsible for crafting the language that guides and empowers our billions of users. You’ll work closely with UX designers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products are not only functional but also easy to understand and navigate.

Responsibilities:
- Craft Clear and Compelling Content: Design, write, edit, and test in-product language that helps users and teams achieve their goals. This includes product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigation, and more.
- Apply Systems Thinking: Approach product design with a systems mindset, defining design system guidance, conducting audits, and creating information architecture.
- Understand Code: Utilize your familiarity with how code works in software to update language, review code for accuracy, and create personalized user experiences.
- Collaborate and Give Feedback: Provide and receive feedback from UX design peers to continually raise the bar for quality.
- Create High-Fidelity Mocks: Use Figma to create design mocks and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science teams to bring products from conception to launch.
- Internationalization: Partner with our internationalization team to ensure product experiences are high-quality in every language.
- Influence and Decision-Making: Demonstrate sound judgment and influence product decisions, team direction, and strategy. Identify potential risks and align stakeholders around key decisions.
- Project Leadership: Independently identify and lead projects that span multiple teams. Facilitate design sprints and workshops.
- Mentorship: Build internal community, provide mentorship, and develop the skills of other content designers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in UX writing.
- Portfolio: Examples of finished wireframes or design mocks that have driven decision-making.
- Communication: Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences.
- Content Management: Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
- Systems Thinking: Examples of work in design systems and systems thinking.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading projects with minimal direction and handling ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience showcasing your end-to-end design process across multiple projects.
- Experience connecting your work with other initiatives and driving collaboration across the company.
