About the Role:
As the Assistant Controller, you’ll play a vital role in managing our financial reporting and month-end close processes. You’ll work closely with the Controller to oversee accounting operations, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Accounting Operations: Support the Controller in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, 1099 reporting, and general ledger.
- Reconciliations: Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries and accruals.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to support financial decision-making.
- Special Projects: Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
- Record Keeping: Prepare files for audits by maintaining organized and accessible records, using clear and standardized naming conventions.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of working experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce), and advanced Excel skills.
