Overview:
As an Associate Principal Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within Mercy. You’ll manage the coordination of analytics projects, ensuring they meet time and scope requirements while addressing the needs of stakeholders.
Your expertise in data analysis, BI application development, and programming languages will be essential in creating and implementing solutions that enhance Mercy’s performance.
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Manage the overall coordination of analytics projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Mercy’s clinical and operational stakeholders, external partners, and IT staff to scope and create analytical solutions.
- Solution Development: Develop and implement analytical solutions to advance Mercy’s performance across value-based agreements and primary care.
- Implementation & Enhancement: Partner with stakeholders to develop plans for the implementation and ongoing enhancement of analytical solutions.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for analytical solutions post-implementation, providing guidance and support to users.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Twelve years of relevant technical, business, or clinical work experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, health management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: Epic data model certification or obtain within 6 months of hire. Certification in Mercy’s health economics platform within 6 months of hire.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly proficient in developing BI applications (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
- Highly proficient in programming languages (e.g., SQL, SAS, R).
