Live Chat Support Agent: ModMed is Hiring Remote (Healthcare IT)
Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) is seeking a Live Chat Support Agent for an exciting remote job opportunity in healthcare IT. This full-time position offers the chance to provide exceptional support for electronic medical records systems while working from home or office with a company transforming healthcare delivery.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional client experiences by identifying and documenting client needs, answering inquiries, applying problem-solving techniques, educating clients, and following issues through to resolution. You will provide consistent, professional, high-quality support to ModMed’s expanding client base of EMR users.
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of related experience, demonstrated expertise with troubleshooting software applications, and excellent communication skills. Experience within a medical practice or with EMR systems is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client experience by identifying and documenting client needs and issues
- Answer incoming inquiries and effectively apply problem-solving techniques
- Educate clients and follow issues through to successful resolution
- Provide consistent, professional, high-quality client support
- Establish procedures to ensure client satisfaction and quality service delivery
- Communicate and collaborate across teams to help resolve issues
- Replicate and document issues for further escalation
- Manage and field 25+ inbound calls per day
Requirements
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Demonstrated expertise with evaluating, troubleshooting, and following up on customer software application issues
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Apple platforms: Mac, iPad, iPhone/iPad iOS
- Knowledge of bug tracking software such as Zen and Jira
- Experience within a medical practice and/or EMR experience is preferred
Professional Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage time
